I have been toying with the idea of setting my cpu in a small dorm Freezer.Do you guys think that the extreme low temps would damage it? Should i take some extra time to insallate the wiring?

the cpu or motherboard wont be a problem.. I think, but the wiring you've got to isolate.

I think that the real problem in doing that is not the cold
temperatures but rather water condensation inside the freezer.
Any amount of water condensing on the motherboard would be bad.
You may be able to get away with this using a frost free freezer however.

HEY! I think the condensation would be a problem too.I think what would work very very very well would be to get some ducting the size as that would work with 80 80 20 case fans.Cut a hole in the little fidge right into the freezer.Run your ducting into the freezer and at the freezer end put a case fan. Then get silicon sealer around your cut and the ducting. just got a volcano 9 with smart case fan 2 and it is the best cpu cooler hands down.Love the reostats djustable fan speed.Anyways I think that if all you guys should at least get the smart case fan 2 it can be bought by itself on ebay for under 10 bucs plus shippin or 28 for the volcano 9 with the smat fan 2 with shippin.Sublime
