list full specs plz, like your mobo :) , if you unlock the cpu you can lower its multiplier allowing higher fsb speeds, it will perfom even better altough your clockspeed is the same, fsb controlls all :D , the higher the better, but watch out, cause there are more parts in a pc to **** up besides cpu... :P so dont over do it :)

I don't know what you have for ram or a mobo but that chip will run rock solid stable at what a 2700+ does and the chip runs cool I but six of then together.
If you want to start bring fsb to 166

uhm that step is way too big, try in steps of 5 mhz increase first, and when it starts giving problems clock back a few mhz.
a good cpu will handle big fsb, but no increase that big in one go ;)

Good point. When you are starting off new go slow.I'm saying this is a good point to start because I mess with these chips alot. And also I have an epox board witch will do what ever I want it to do.When I had the asus board had a hard time overclocking but hope the bios has fixed alot of there problems.

uhu, also people who overclock there everyday life pc, tend toi forget that an ethernet card cant handle overclocking, I dont know bout the epox(great oc board btw) but my ASUS wont let me lock my pci bus, which would scorch your ethernet if overclocking too high;), the agp bus will be a little problem too but most biosses allow you to lock that one :)

no problem with epox. The neforce 2 board locks it and I use the onboard and have no problems

so I heard, but the epox mobo's arent good for everyday use (for the customer that doenst want any problems) it tends to cause irq confilts and the like with loads of customers, but for an overclocking geek its bliss :D

don't know about that.I have 14 of them out and had know problems.I've had mine the day it came out.And have had no problems with it at all.We are running 4 of them at my work.I've had lots of problems with the asus but I don't need to sould like a broken record.

uhm, I head from a lot of fellow mg ppl that they had trouble with the epox boards, especially 8rda+, concerning irq confilts and the like
