Change Cpu Fan??

Is it ok to change the cpu cooler? I wanna get a VOLCANO 9 COOL MOD, one with colors, I want to use Artic silver compound? Do you think its ok to change it?

Of course... BUT make sure you check because certain coolers are only compatible with certain CPU's...

Ie: the Volcano 9 ONLY works with AMD Athlons, etc.....

Follow directions with the product EXACTLY! use a quality TIM and have fun.

Post specs of your system and I am sure we can come up with some suggestions...

yes ,you can clean the old compount with, cleaning benzine(dunno how its called in english) or thinner or something :p,
the artic silver is a great improvement, can differ up to 3-5 degrees(centigrade)
