ok, I have windows xp running for a month or so now, and suddenly I see, when I open the taskmanager, an extra local area connection, 30 mbs, local area connection 3.
checking in controlpanel>network connections>l.a.c 3
I try to disable it, it wont, I checked its name : microsoft tv/video connection, does this got anything to do with installing a webcam a few hours ago ??
then when I try to close it down, a pop up appears saying:
It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. this connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support plug and play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account.
well I dont think my dad is able to add another network, and since I'm the admin on this pc , it makes it even more illogical.
any idea how I should disable it and how it got there in the first place ?, or is it somethin very normal and am I overreacting, comments would be much appreciated :)
