Problem, I can't connect to the internet because my "Realtek RTL8168/8111 Famil PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet nic (NDiS 6.0)", says under "Device Status" "This device cannot start (code 10)"
I downloaded(onto a different computer) the most recent driver I could find:
http://www.xpvistaworld.com/realtek...dis_6_0_958.htm
I put the zip file onto a usb drive, brought over to my new computer, copied the folder to the desktop, opened the folder and hit setup. I went through the installation process. However under the hardware tab, the realtek ethernet network adapters were not changed. I restarted the computer.
They were still not changed. The driver date is listed as 11/3/2006 and the driver
version as 1.86.1103 2006.
However, the driver I downloaded is listed as 9.11.7.
Under device status it says "This device cannot start (code 10)
I've tried uninstalling the drivers, installing the new ones, and it still says its
version 1.86.1103 2006 and restarting after wards does not change anything.

*note, I also get an 814 error if I try to connect to the internet but I think thats just a result of the Ethernet code 10 error.
