:wave Happy New Year
I have two computers and 1 Router (BTHomeHub) which are wireless
Question Both computers can see the router but is it possible for the two computers to see each other

I have now pinged both computers and they are in my network places good :)
next problem I have a wired printer to my main computer (Canon pixma mp500 ) both computers have the drivers and have the printer as default good but the second comp does not print,first one does
I tried to save file to second comp shared file and pick it up on main comp shared file but all that is there is a short cut to second comp shared file and will not open :cry

So, we're talking about two things here, printer sharing and file sharing, right? Have you enabled either?

The easiest way perform your task is to network the computers together network computers (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/setup/homenet.mspx) then share the drives. Using Shared Folders

1. Open Computer Management.
2. In the console tree, click Shares.
Where?
* Computer Management/System Tools/Shared Folders/Shares
3. On the Action menu, click New Share.
4. Follow the steps in the Share a Folder Wizard, and then click Finished
On Action menu can not find "click New share"

Under ACTION
All tasks ..............Send console Message
New Window from here
Refresh
Export List
