I'm sure it's a great set, but I've learned that bigger isn't always better, especially when it comes to TVs. Just before X-Mas, my wife and I went shopping for an LCD big screen and settled on either a 40" or a 46" Toshiba. Normally you would think that the 46" would be better, but it all depends on the viewing area and how far the set would be away from you as you watch it. Here's where the Toshiba website came in extremely handy on figuring out the proper distances. According to them the 40" has a range of 14 to 16 feet for optimum viewing. The 46" had an 20 to 22 foot range. Since the maximum distance in our room for viewing was 15.5' we settled on the 40". According to Toshiba, the closer you are to a big screen the less clearer the picture becomes, almost grainy and that was Toshiba's calculations. One things for sure, I can't complain.
Like I said, I'm sure that 'monster' you posted about is a great set, but a little impractical for most homes. Unless, of course, you are planning to build a home theater in another room, or you have one HUGE living room:-D
