im working on a computer it doesnt power on but the mother board light comes on but nothing more, it looks as if they had already been in it and unplugged some stuff the soft start and switch plugs and what not in that group of plugs. i was wondering if there was a manual or spec book to show me how and where the plugs hook in. the only numbers i found was ASUS
D33005, N13219, and KBN. on the ASUS website i could not find any of these numbers to match up. if there is another place to look or any info or links to find how to hook these plugs up would be gratefully appreciated.. THANK U

You are going to have to provide (find) more information. Inspect the board again for a model and revision number. It should be printed on it somewhere.

The motherboard LED lighting only means the +5Vsb standby voltage is present - warning users not to pull or insert anything now. That does not mean the PSU is able to supply all necessary voltages - I would test or replace the supply.

Well there appears to be 7 versions of the K8N:

K8N
K8N-E
K8N-E Deluxe
K8N-VM

and then

K8N4-E
K8N4-E Deluxe
K8N4-E SE

Using just the 4 K8N models, see this Product Comparison (http://www.asus.com/products_compare_show.aspx?array_model=233,772,232,952&l1=3) - hopefully the photos will reveal what you have. If not there, then perhaps it is a K8N4 and can be seen here (http://www.asus.com/products_compare_show.aspx?array_model=567,980,454&l1=3).
