I need general Information On The Dell Poweredge 1600SC. I am buying this for my Transportation Company. We will be using the server for a VPN across 3 other locations. We are also using the F5 Networks Firepass for VPN tunneling. My Question is, Is the Dell strong enough to handle a full workload? Will it be able to handle people constantly saving new information on our server? OK now for the program. We are using a program called CTS Trip Master it uses 8MB of RAM (the server has a GIG) it does work well with multiple users. We are trying to accomplish a centralized management system so we know what the other locations are doing with their time. Any personal experience that you may have with the server will be greatly appreciated. Or just round about info on whether or not the server would work for us.

Thanks,

Savtaz - Give us a little more on the System Specs? (http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/pedge_1600sc?c=us&cs=555&l=en&s=biz) (HDD space, type (RIAD5 etc.) RAM,
CPU(s) etc.) We use 1600s at work and they are decent workhorses. If it will be a
file/application server and VPN access, you should be fine.
