After many hours of trying to get boinc to work, I now have it running on about 8 PC's/servers. I have not yet recived any credits for work done as yet however I have some work unit's ready to report. Some of the PC's/servers are reporting:
first line: "Can't resolve host name www.my host name.co.uk (valid name, no data record of requested type)"
2nd line: "Could't start download for http://www.my host name.co.uk: error code -113",
3rd line: "Backing off 2 hours, 17 minutes, and 3 seconds on transfer of file background_108860______".
These 3 lines have been reported many time although the timing's on the last line do vary. Has anyone any idear on how to fix this problem? or is a problem in the first place? or will just waiting to the boinc servers to catch up on there back load of work units fix this problem? ......skull head
