View Full Version : Bluetooth Networking (The Best Way To Do It? And How?)
Could someone tell me what is the best way to create a wireless home network using bluetooth if possible, it has to be able to share the internet connection on the host computer aswell, Thanks
read about bluetooth here

Bluetooth isn't designed to compete with wireless local area networks. Even its close-range throughput of 1 Mbps doesn't compare with the 11 Mbps that the emerging standard for wireless LAN, IEEE 802.11, offers.
also works at a range of about 10 meters.
but if you still want to do it just get a usb blutooth card. it will act just like a regular network card.
The best solution, IMO, would be to have a standard wireless network with a Bluetooth acess point on a computer, so you can have a "hotspot" for bluetooth devices (like phones, etc.)
