Hey guys,
I've been looking around for a way to make an newsfeed reader for a webpage, whether by scripting directly into the page or outsourcing to another site. Basically, i've come up with the feedpage option available at feedster.com, however there are a few problems:
first, that either using their fullpage option or headlines only option, you receive the *entire* feed from your selected sites. This can probably be easily overcome by adding in some filtering script into my page itself to grab maybe just the top ten headlines.
the second problem, however, isn't easily overcome, and it's that feedster frequently seems to go down, their feedpapers that is. often i'll find the feed empty and when going to the url, find it's not even there anymore.
so i'm wondering if anyone knows of any better web-based aggregation services, or any solid script i can place on my site for culling newsfeeds.
thanks! :)
