Not necessarily. Oil (or any) companies don't necessarily do well when their COSTS go up.
In a volatile market like this, oil futures are where the money is to be made, but oil futures is a crap shoot. Guess right and get rich, guess wrong and lose you ***. Many more people lose than win at spot predictions.
