well, on my old computer i dont lag on games and on my new computer i do... my new computer had MUCH better specs then my old computer.. they both have onboard LAN.. so i compared them.. my old computer gets more received packets then sent packets.. (example) its like 112242 sent and 324023 received... on my net computer its like 3000 sent and 1000 received, so i think thats why i lag on games... does anyone know what i can do to fix this? or do i just need to buy a new LAN card and it will fix this problem?

Sounds like your new computer has some sort of wirus or spyware. Were the speeds always slower than the older computer? Or is this a brand new computer.

no its always been like this for some reason.. deffinitely not spyware/viruses.. and yes i built the computer a month ago and iv been on every forum in the world to try to fix this.. but no one knows.. so i guess the only option is for me to buy a LAN card

Since cards are so cheap, I would just buy a new card to see if it makes a difference. My dad's comp had onboard lan and connection problems. Getting a new card fixed his problem.
