Define crashes.
I have to type quickly or the computer crashes.
I sign onto the internet and I have about 1 minute before it freezes.
I am unable to go to any links or browse webpages after being online for about a minute. The mouse still works and I can browse the hardrive. It's only an internet problem. The screen is the same. No links work.
I am unable to send forms most of the time.

What browser?
Any browser.
If I use Safari, Internet Explorer, AOL.
Any internet connection freezes after 1 minute.

What NIC are you using?
How much ram do you have?
cpu speed 1.5 Ghz
L2 cache 512 kb
memory 1 GB
bus speed 167 MHz
boot rom 4.8.6fo
powerbook G4
Tried Cable, Tried Wireless, tried phone line
Sometimes it works a little longer if I reset the cache. It's as if it's filling up with cookies, but it doesn't solve the problem.

When is the last time you repaired permissions?
Ever used OnyX before?

Have you been able to use the browsers before and it just started happening or have you never been able to browse the internet?
It just started doing the crash at one minute. For a while it was slowing down and I just cleared the cookies. It would work after that.
It does not help anymore. Now it just stops connecting to the internet after 1 minute.
I don't know if there is anything else that needs to be done to clear or resent anything in MAC.
Used to a PC.
Looks like it's not freezing so bad on the telephone line.
I think the 1 minute freeze has been happening since the power went out and came back on. The 1 minute freeze happens on the Wireless line.
I can't test the cable.

Well, guess I'll step out of this thread due to my post not being acknowleged.

Didn't mean to ignore your post. I had 1 minute to read before the computer died. I've never repaired permissions before and did. It seems to have worked now.
Thanks
