    I have a 13 inch Android Tablet.
    Model TM1318

I never had to Replace a Screen but I am a Computer Repair Tech.

Can anybody help with one thing?

I go on Amazon.com and put my Model Number in and look for Replacement Screens.
And I just get Mac Book Replacment Screens.

How do people that Replace the Screens get the Right Screen for the Tablet?

Thanks to all for the Time.

Be as detailed with search terms as possible. Should you find what you seek, f the description is not specific enough to satisfy you, send a message and ask for more details. BTW, I found nothing on Amazon so I checked eBay. I used "nuvision Model TM1318 screen" to find these:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/NuVision-Sc...831355?hash=item43f9af693b:g:kLYAAOSwj85YNeov
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/NuVision-Model-TM1318-LCD/302146731569

I suspect it wasn't a big seller so the aftermarket parts availability will be sparse.

Thank you for all the time and help.
But do I have to Buy it from EBay?

Can I get it from anywhere other then them?

    I Hope you can help?

    Thanks again.

    The tablet specs
    https://www.cnet.com/products/nuvision-tm1318-tablet-android-4-4-kitkat-16-gb-13-3/specs/
scroll down and you see the company, Avision, mentioned. They basically make scanners.

    Next I went here: https://www.fixez.com/categories/screen-replacements
but they only list well-known brands.

I suspect since the tablet came with KitKat, which was released in 2013 and is now unsupported https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_version_history
and probably never been updated because an newer version of android was never offered, your best bet is to buy a used one cheap and swap out the screen.
At $160, when new and with a 1 year warranty, I suspect it is viewed as a throwaway item.

Thank you for all the help.

I believe the screens are universal. If the Android screen is 5.5 inches, it should be able to fit any tablet of that size. Or yopu are talking about a specific brand of tablet e.g Samsung?

FreddieC, please read the thread before you comment.
In post #4, I gave the company behind that model, Avision.

I just have one thing to ask?

If my Screen is 13 inch then how can a 5.5 inch screen work and fit like the other Post told me?

    They're not.
He was claiming that all tablet screens of matching size are interchangeable, which is incorrect.

My Android Tablet is an NuVision TM 1318 Model.
    13 inch screen.

I meant the functionality bit. Of course the sizes are different.

The length, placement and routing of connectors is not standard, nor is LCD screen resolution. Someone is planning to spend money on these recommendations. Be accurate.

By functionality I mean things like touch screen, resolution adjustments, locking and unlocking. These are more or less the same.

Your advice is confusing biferi. He almost bought the wrong screen because you said they were universal. I'm not trying to be a jerk but your advice is not helping him fix his screen. It's not fair to biferi, who is relying on our advice to fix a problem, not cause more headache for him.

FreddieC, it was never implied by Just Playin that you said he's a jerk.
Your post #8 is confusing or just plain crap.
