Comodo For Firefox?

I am thinking of downloading Comodo on my computer.The installation wants to have me use Chromodo for my home page,use Chromodo shortcuts and Google Chrome settings and add a couple of otherprograms which are not free.Can I just use the free Comodo with my Firefox and keep my MSN home page and my present favorites?Comodo is supposewd to have a very good firewall but I don't want to learn a new web page or sign up for an expensive web page scanner.Any advice would be appreciated.I have been running Vipre on a two year subscription, but it quit working and won't download.
