I Ran The Malware Removeable Guide On My Windows 8

All the programs came back clean until I downloaded MG tools.It downloaded but would not run on my system.The reason I used the malware guide to begin with was because when I go to my pictures and double click a picture to enlarge it,the computer goes back to the start page.Also,when I try to print a picture from my pictures page,the computer will not recognize my printer but gives me a choice of two printers I have never owned.I have deleted the software for my printer and reloaded it with no help to the situation.I can still scan and print with the printer and can print from my Firefox web page online.I can send pictures to Photo bucket from my pictures folder.Also, if I stay on a site for a while,sometimes I get a quick red screen for a second and then it comes back.Am running Windows 8 Pro.Suggestions welcomed.
