Cannot Update Win.8

    I have reset my computer to factory, (Win 7), installed my Win 8 disk, have tried everything to get all my updates, clean install, update fixer, still
    get the reverting error message. Can I jump to Win 10, if I have not concluded all the Win. 8 updates?

    You will need Windows 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10.

    You can upgrade to Win 10 from Win 7 SP1, no need for 8 or 8.1. Your Win 7 updates, once you have them all, will offer you Win 10 so go for it. I had a Win 8 system that refused to upgrade to 8.1 and kept reverting. This is the workaround.
