Wanting To Upgrade

    Hello all,
    I am multi booting 500gb hd with all windows
    xp pro sp3
    xp sp3
    vista
    win 7 pro
    my question is can I do an up grade to one of the older systems without loosing the ability to use the new ones?
    Example, if I upgrade xp pro to window 8 will I mess up the boot for the others? Thanks for any help.

    or what if I chose to upgrade vista instead of one of the XP SP3 ?

    No matter which one you choose to upgrade, the "newest" version's bootloader will take over.
