    Hey all.

Wondering, if I have a shortcut, and rename the target file, is there any way to either rename the shortcut without going to it manually? If not, is there any way to find the shortcut from the target file?

First in order to see the target, you have to right click the shortcut and select properties. So you know where the shortcut is to do this.

Once you rename the target, the shortcut is no longer valid - because it doesn't point to the correct target.

    1. Remove a shortcut that points some some target.
    2. Rename the target.
    3. Create a shortcut to the new target and put it where you want.

After renaming the target file, right-click it and click Send to Desktop.
