Windows 7 X64 Update Problem With Kb3121461 Integrity Violations

Does anybody else have any problem with this update and perhaps a solution? When I install it, and then run "sfc /verifyonly" afterwards, it says there are integrity violations. If I don't install it, there is no problem. All other update files installed fine. I was thinking perhaps it was Norton Security or the free Super Anti Spyware blocking a full install, but I can't see it as they haven't blocked any other.

 

Solution: uninstall the update.
I was not offered that particular update. I have four Windows 7 computers in the house.

seems like it is an issue with that particular update.

 

It is strange only some are offered it, I guess it could be something to do with the fact I haven't downloaded the Win 10 upgrade updates. Or maybe all your machines use 32-bit win7? Could you compare the security upgrades you were offered on the 16th of January with the list below that I was offered? I'd like to compare them to see if you were offered any I wasn't. Thanks

That's not it because no Win 10 updates are on any of our four computers.

Again NO!. I have two 64 bit Win 7 Home Premium, one 32 bit Home Premium and one 32 bit Home Pro. The Pro is offered a lot more updates than the other computers and this wasn't offered to the Pro version.

January updates:
10 updates, 11 updates, 13 on another (this one has Office 2007 hence the two extra updates) and 14 offered to the Pro computer (also Office 2007). I will list the 11 I was offered, skip the two Office one and also post the "extra" update offered to the Pro computer so the list will be 12 updates.

Two computers were offered 3126036 Silverlight. The other two computers don't have Silverlight installed.

So are lists match except you were offered KB3121461 and I was not offered this on any computer.

Obviously not having it installed has not impacted the operating system as far as I can tell. 3 of the 4 computers are used daily. The Pro computer, in the basement doesn't see as much use as the others.
