For the last month, almost all of my emails have "to protect your privacy, SeaMonkey has blocked remote content of this message", including familiar addresses and websites which have always been trusted. The warning states that I can add the address to my address book in order to "always load remote content from this address". I have always done this in the past, but now this no longer works. How may I fix this as apparently one or more of my settings has changed.

Yes, that is a reply to me. See my reply. It doesn't work the way it used to. I want remote content blocked from unknown sources, but the browser won't let me allow selectively any more.

So are you saying in Privacy & Security, Images Settings where you can select to allow or not allow it makes no difference in your outcome?
In a different thread in Support there it is addressed more fully. Worth a look anyway. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1727385&start=15

Sorry I am not able to be of much help. Maybe someone here will be able to advise you better.
