Random popup even if browser is closed to a website.

Start bar tabs lack icons sometimes, as in if have firefox open, and its on my start bar, the little fox and planet symbol does not show. (happens with msword too)

Issue with surfing on a website, and suddenly another window i have open appears on top (windows 10 issue?) (requires video to really show)

Issue with typing on a website, and suddenly another window i have open appears on top and i am typing there. (requires video to really show)

Issue with windows flickering amazingly fast, i think between each other? impossible to show without making a video but i basically lose control of being able to do anything until it stops. Mouse still works of course. (requires video to really show)

Issue with having firefox windows open and when i go back to a window it's gone. It wont open when i click it on start bar even though it still shows. Further inspection reveals that the window was scrunched somehow? like minimize was overly applied to it? so all that appears is file, edit, view, history but no possible way to maximize it again.

Deleted chrome as i don't need it or use it.
Wondering if these issues are windows 10 related or a virus. Popup seems to indicate my computer was compromised somehow and all issues started when the popups did.
Graphics card and drivers seem fine.
Considering resetting my firefox browsers and even deleting and reinstalling it. Only reason i haven't yet is because i have tons of bookmarks, and some addons and scripts that i would need to setup again (they are safe, they existed before these problems)

I am not seeing any malware at all in those logs. Did you get a log from Hitman Pro at all?

Hey unfortunately, about a week ago i tried to remove things myself, so i got hits on malware anti bytes, superanti spyware, and rouge killer. Removed everything. Thought my problem was gone, but the ad still comes up occasionally. Lately the ad/popup comes up less though. Next time it happens i will include a screenshot. The windows flickering problems have been happening since the ad has, so they could be related, or could not be. Sorry about this i only read now that i shouldn't have attempted to remove things myself. The hits i got seemed relatively minor, about 3-30 not serious things. I also use ccleaner frequently. I also have firefox set up not to save history at all, private browsing mode. The reason i find the ad/popup strange is that i have adblocker and i am not on any sites that might initiate such a popup.

Hitmanpro when i click save log nothing happens. No idea where or how to get the log for it. But no it had no findings.

OH and i also had random folders being created in my program files x86. Safesearch was one of the folders. Or something search. Anyway that stopped happening. But i noticed even when i deleted these folders they would come back, though nothing unusual was in my Uninstall programs in control panel.

Still the add pops up once/twice a day, so i am not sure its completely resolved.. AND those window overlapping issues and flickerings are a huge annoyance. I suppose i'll just wait for it to happen again so i can show a screenshot to you. If it doesn't show up anymore then it might have been fixed when i flushed my DNS cache just two hours ago.

So these pop up's occur when you are on Firefox?
Do they occur even when you are not on the internet?

Hi here is the popup, its alway to the same site, and the voice starts playing. https://flic.kr/p/D7f2Tn
It happened once yesterday and just now today. That is todays screenshot, (5 minutes ago).

Also new issue of a tiny browser happened. I think it happened when exiting full screen of flash which when streaming videos is managed by adobe? Maybe my flickering issues have to do with flash getting corrupted? Did my graphic driver get corrupted or something? or did windows itself get corrupted? or firefox? Maybe deleting the malware deleted some file? https://flic.kr/p/E4CSDr

I'm not sure if it happens with the internet off? Certaintly it happens when the browser is closed. Only on firefox as I don't use microsoft edge.

So yeah definitely I don't think the popup should occur, and especially because it doesn't seem linked to any site. =/ So is there no way to find out how my computer was compromised? Should i just reset/delete firefox and re-install it? Do you think one of my add ons got corrupted by the malware?

Oh a lot of my issues happened after i installed bluestacks emulator for android apps, and then uninstalled it, when i found it was slow and also giving me issues with running it and firefox at the same time etc. http://www.bluestacks.com/

Though I never thought it was a virus or malware, just a really crappy emulator that needs many more updates to run smoothly? Now that i think about it that's when all this started...

    haha interesting..the last comment

and user Bina says they got a rootkit..

oh my god, i didn't think this was a problem software!!

Hm none of the methods for removing bluestacks or its advertising in browsers will work for me, its already uninstalled, and the browser already blocks popups and has no suspicious extensions.. i'm at a loss as to what to do aside from just deleting firefox.

Hi I reset firefox, and I think that solved my ad problem. Haven't had a hit yet. Still have major flickering issues, and its EXTREMELY annoying to be playing a youtube video or writing an email and another firefox window gets selected, so my music stops while im writing my email because i hit a keyboard key that stops the music because somehow the broswer behind the one i am typing in GETS SELECTED. WHY IS WINDOWS 10 SUCH GARBAGE! Sorry this problem is really infuriating. It's either fail windows 10, or fail Nvidia graphic drivers. I've had so many issues with nvidia the past 5 years, and especially when using their drivers combined with windows 10, its a disaster. And nobody is doing anything.

So what did I do. I reinstalled windows 10 while keeping my files. That means completely reinstalled the graphic driver, and firefox (brand new install)
Same window flicker problems and issues.
    Disabled windows error reporting.
    Disabled Aero effects.
Disabled tons of windows 10 features.
    Still have the problem.
    Rolled back the driver.
    Still have the problem.
This is unsolvable. =/ Solution is to get windows 7 again.

    That is good! ;)

I'm sorry that I cannot help you with the other issues. You can post about those in the software forum perhaps.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
