Error Rooting The Huawei P8

    I own a Huawei P8 device running Android Lollipop and wanted to root it but I'm having problems. A followed this guide on How To Root The Huawei P8 Lite ALE-L21 On Android 6.0 to root my device. I've copied the SuperSU over to the root of the internal SD card but when I boot into 'recovery mode' and use the TWRP Recovery and install the SuperSU .zip file, the phone goes blanks, and it never turns on. I think my device has bricked. Can anyone help me out with this?

    Boot into recovery and install the backup you created in step 7.
