    getting this error
    tried doing this
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310794
    problem is there's no
    HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Providers
    HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Providers
registry keys. i have no "cryptography" in "microsoft"

    also did chkdsk/r and defrag

also don't know if this has to do with anything but if i boot up in safe mode w/ networking it gives same error. if i boot up in just safe mode it works.
