2 computers sharing same monitor and internet

I have no idea if this is even possible.

First question:

I am thinking of making my own computer and hooking it up to my other one through a network or something. I have wireless internet so basically what i want to know is can i share the internet through my wireless adapter?

Second Question:

I am really cheap and dont want to guy another monitor so is there a device or anyother way to switch between computers?

Yes, via a router and kvm switch.

 

yep like Adrynalyne said, the KVM switch provides control over 2 computers using 1 Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor and is usually switched with a key combo.

and for the net sharing, youll probably have to buy another wireless adapter for the 2nd computer or connect it with a wired connection, but this really depends how your network is set up.
