2 "monitor" setup issues

    Right, so I have been using my Sapphire 7950 with my HP 2009m monitor by itself for quite some time using dvi to vga.

    Recently I connected a hdmi cable from the 7950 to my vizio va26lhdtv10t. Now this only worked a couple of times. When I power off the tower & tv and turn them back on, it does not recognize the tv. How do I fix this?
