24" LCD purchase, need opinion on gaming

I've already decided on the Dell 2407WFP. The Samsung 244t, while reportedly better, is still out of my price range.

By looking at my PC specs below, and considering its native resolution of 1920x1200, will I have much trouble running HL2 and other games at full throttle? I know I have good stuff, but that's still a lot of pixels to push 60 times a second. My other option would be the Samsung 214tw-- a 21-incher at 1680x1050.

You should be fine with HL2, but what 'other games' are you talking about? Oblivion, FEAR? You might be hurting on these.

Keep in mind that those benchmarks only go up to 1600x1200, so the fps on those games will actually be less. (assuming you have the same AA+AF settings)
