How does that particular router connect to your pc? Is it an ethernet cable, usb, firewire??

It doesn't make sense otherwise that your device manager is making it the problem. It's more like maybe the device in the box isn't installed. the router isn't a device for the PC to see in device mgr. The nic is.

What do you see when you double click that network adapters icon? How many devices are there under it and does it include the one the router is attached to?

For instance if you have a firewire port and/or a wireless card and/or on onboard NIC, they would all be there.

The important one is the one that you know the router is physically connected to.

Does device mgr show that specific one as working properly?

About logging in to the router, the IPs you list...try
    192.168.0.1
    192.168.10.1

The IP of the internal side of the router should be the subnet, plus the last number in the last group (last octet) is usually .01 and is static.

It's better if you have or can download the manual or get support and find out the url such as http://xxxxxxx.xxx

However, nothing is going to work unless the device that the router is connected to in the computer has the right driver and is working...

Are you using usb or enet, if both is plugged in unplug the usb, and use enet as you don't need both.

Reset the router (reset button on it), and turn everything off. When you turn on the router, let it sync, then boot up the computer.

The 2Wire Home and Office Portals can be setup in any OS by using a web browser and surfing to the address of http://172.16.0.1. (Note: Later model units default to an address of http://192.168.1.254) Once there, the Setup Wizard can be started and the key code entered.
