    Hi Geekers,

I recently purchased myself an new Acer Aspire V3-771G laptop as an upgrade from my recently purchased V3-571G in Feb, as the 571G was not all it was cracked up to be when it comes to gaming and high performance.

Anyway, I have freshly formatted this machine and installed my retail copy of Windows 8 Professional, and downloaded all the latest drivers from Acers website for this model laptop and installed them all, however, in my Device Manager properties, its showing 3 separate Audio devices, when I play movies in WMP or VLC ever 5 mins or so I get crackling and quick odd sounds that last no more than 5 secs at a time, but it does become annoying, and I don't know why my laptop chooses to install 3 separate audio drivers, as far as I am aware, going by acers website on my specific model laptop, I have an Realtek HD Audio card, so I went to realteks site and downloaded the HD audio driver only and tried that, it installed, but made no difference.

Has anyone else had any similar experiences like I am having?

Things seem to be getting weirder and weirder, I ran BelArc Advisor (Todays latest released version) and it shows the 3 separate audio devices just like Windows Device Manager shows, so I decided to try another program, and I realise this: (See Pic)

In my Windows 8 Professional Device Manager, Under "Sound, Video & Game Controllers" it displays the following, in the following order

    Bluetooth Audio Device
    Intel Display Audio
    Realtek HD Audio

I cannot understand what the heck Bluetooth audio is, or Intel Display Audio,,,,

Upon checking Acers website support page for my Acer Aspire V3-771G, it says nothing about either of the first 2, and upon writing directly to Acer Customer Care, They wrote back asking for more information, Even though I originally gave them as much information, including Screen Captures....

    Hmmmmmmmm
