8800 gts card question

    can you use a single 8800gts 320mb card on a crossfire motherboard the reason i ask is i have a 8800 and am geting a crossfire motherboard as an upgrade if i can id like to use the 8800 untill i can buy 2 ati cards thanks for any help i think i read somewhere you can use single geforce card on crossefire board but ive been looking and cant find it so im not sure
