My son built a computer and installed a 9250 video card. All seems to work until he plays a game or runs a flash program. Everythings freezes up and the only thing that can be done is to restart the computer. Any ideas?

9250 is ati, not nvidia, you wont find your drivers there. sounds like you need to make sure the correct drivers are installed for your card. windows may install their version, but it wont help you for gaming. you can get ati's drivers at http://www.ati.com , or if you know the manufacturer of the video card (if it's not ati) check their website for updates. or if you/he never installed them to begin with, then use the cdrom that came with the card. also, make sure directx is updated, http://www.microsoft.com/directx
