a question about clearing my cookies

    what does this do besides clearing the cookies does it get rid of cookie related problem ect

    im just asking cause im curious

    oh and i wanna know how to clear my cookies lol

    Yes! It removes potential problem/questionable cookies but also removes cookies that you may want to have. That is why you should use a tool that allows you to preserve certain cookies. Not all cookies are bad and many spyware scanners like to make themselves look great by reporting many hundreds of harmless cookies just because they are cookies.

    It is in step 4, link 2 of the in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support see CCleaner This is just one of many possibe tools to do this but it is a good tool.

    this is a dumb question but um removing the cookies means ill have to relog in to my sites that im a member of right like this site

    what else should i remove

    Yes! That's why in message # 2 I said:
    Some cookies should be removed and some should not. You can decide for yourself. Most are not needed and some are really considered bad.


    I'm not sure what you are referring to?

    But it is not necessary. If you use CCleaner to remove cookies, it has a feature (under Options and then Cookies) where you can first select Cookies to keep

    For example, I keep cookies from (to name just a few)
    www.majorgeeks.com

    wildersecurity.com
    support.microsoft.com
