a very sensitive bug

now i'm not sure exactly what is wrong with my computer but i can say what goes on, and i'm a bit worried.

-- with my firefox, if you search anything dealing with spyware, any and all browsers will immediately close. luckily that didn't happen with IE.
-- if you download anything like ad-aware, or really anything at all that could be of service to helping cleanse you of anything vermicious [knid!] the download opens then immediately closes. or won't open at all.
-- programs that could be used, that are previously on the computer, to detect and remove anything won't even open.

i don't know what to do!

Try the below.

1) First try running your scans after booting in safe mode with your cable to the internet physically unplugged. Let me know the results. Info on booting in safe mode and standard cleaning steps are here: READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

2) Download HOSTER and then follow the below steps.

Unzip Hoster to a convenient folder such as C:\Hoster

Run Hoster.exe, click Restore Original Hosts and then click OK.

Click the X to exit the program

3) If the above does not help, see if you can follow the steps in: Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis
