About:Blank -- about buster not fixing -- what to do?

    Howdy,

    I've got the about:blank going again... I use AOL for a browser, but anytime I go into MSN, the about blank screen comes up. Also, if I open up E-browser, it comes up about:blank. I've tried about buster, and updated it, but it's not catching it in it's scans. Any suggestions?

    Ok, lets forget everything you have done to this point and start clean.

    Lets start by reading and following as much as you can from here:

    Your Hijack This is out of date. Also, to be able to create backups, Hijack This should be in its own directory. I would re-download it and put it in C:\ProgramFiles\HijackThis\ and run from there. Finally, you have a lot of running programs making a large logfile. Close ALL running programs, including items in the lower right corner of your screen known as the system tray. Usually, you can right click on an icon and choose close for most.

    The only line that concerns me so far is:
    O18 - Filter: text/html - {BE6C8CC3-0222-41EB-B30F-85B15C3965CC} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\kdmkc.dll

    BUT DO NOT REMOVE IT YET, please do all the steps outlined above, and send us a new Hijack This logfile, attached like I did and myself or Chaslang will take a look afterwards.
