I went through all the steps in the "read me first before asking for support" help thread, and then I was getting ready to do the generic solution when the first thing I noticed is that I think this computer is infested with almost every single hijacker line that cannot be fixed by the the generic solution. Would anyone here be able to help me out. I have gotten help before (thanks PhilliePhan and chaslang) and trust you guys. Also I dont want to call some "geek squad" and dish out too much money. Thanks for any help. I can post the log file as soon as it is requested.

Geez! These guys from Ridgewood just don't want to spend any money!

The Generic solution is only for specific forms of HSA and About:Blank hijackers. It is not for any other hijackers.

Please follow the steps below.

- Download HijackThis 1.99.1

- Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

- Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.

- Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

- Run HijackThis and save your log file.

- Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next message. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post).
