Accessing write protected MS pro duo

    Good Day,
    First off, I apologize if this area is not the appropriate spot for this topic. I recently purchased a 4 gig Sony MS pro duo from flea bay. I suspect the card is a fake, but the real problem for now is the card is write protected. As the stick has no mechanical write protection switch, I was hoping that someone with experience with memory sticks might have a solution. The fact that the stick may be fake does not bother me as much as the fact that I can not write to it. Thanks kindly
