Acronis recovery to a new computer

    I have Windows XP and Acronis version 10. I have a full backup on a separate hard drive. I am buying a new computer with XP and wonder if I can transfer my back up information onto the new computer without sending the operating system. In otherwords, can I separate programs from operating system in Acronis and only send the programs and files to the new computer? Thanks for the help.
