Acting slow

My computer seems to be acting slow, internet pages takinga while to display. I also noticed and odd "search" bar in my browser that I most certainly did not put there. I figured it's spyware, not sure what actions to take though.

Hay,
Go to add\remove programs and uninstall anything that is search, shopping or toolbar related... Heck, anything you didnt install. Take about an hour out of your busy day and run our tutorial. If that does not fix it up, check back with us with any remaining symptoms and we will fix you up.

Also try installing spybot or Adware Filter and run a scan, and a virus scan too

You should please read our sticky threads too. That is already recommended in the link Major gave (http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407)

And please do not recommend items like Adware Filter. It is on a list of rogue suspected spyware removal tools (http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm)

Everything required to resolve issues like these are in normally in our stickies and are downloadable here on MGs.
