active x window

    Why does this window keep popping up when i click on some sites

    "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly."

    how do i fix the problem?

    ? are you going to sites that need active x to be enabled (ie. mcafee, or symantec, to do scans)? basically it's saying that your settings aren't correct, and can't download the information, and/or programs for that page etc. what os are you using, and what browser are you using to access the internet?

    You are getting this message due to your security settings blocking the site or page you are visiting from installing any activex files. This is to protect your PC from attack by malicious software. If you are absolutely certain the sites you are visiting are safe, then you can allow activex from those sites. I don't recommend changing the security settings from what they are though because, you will end up with unwanted problems.
