activex controls will not load

I have a friends computer I am trying to clean out, but no matter what I do I cannot get the activex controls to load. adaware and spybot scans come back clean now. I tried running spy sweeper, but it does not let me remove anything without subscribing. I manually removed most everything except for some cookies.

Any ideas about the activex? I have unistalled and reinstalled iexplorer.

Ok, I found the fix to the activex control thing and several other script errors that were occurring here http://windowsxp.mvps.org/olereg.htm

Hope this can help someone else sometime. It sure as hell helped me this time.
