AdAware new version and upgrade

Yeah, they had that REALLY BAD glitch with the last version (1.04), and they (Yay, Lavasoft!) corrected it late on the same day of release, but I suspect that they found that something wasn't exactly RIGHT in 1.04, and that is probably the reason for the new version so soon after the last was released.

Thanks for being alert, Lavasoft! Version 1.05 is just fine.

 

WW, I had no problem with v1.04. Musta got the corrected version. Have dowloaded and installed v1.05 with no problems so far. Bazza

My AdAware says it is version VI ... Is that different from version 1.04 which they have a new upgrade listed? If their numbers are in sequence why would anyone want to go back to v1.04? Maybe something here I don't understand. Please explain. Thank You.

 

Hi Bennie,

By "version," they are referring to new builds. The new builds correct for bugs in the previous ones. You should be running Ad-Aware SE. Get it here:

AdAware went to Version 6 , then discontinued.
Replaced by new program AdAware SE.
SE now up to version 1.05
