    In my XP Pro (with SP2 and most updates) when I click on Start, I get 2 particular entries. One of which is My Documents and another is My RECENT Documents, (my emphasis).

    I'd like to add My Recent Documents to other people's Start function. How do I do this?
    Right clicking on My Documents gives me Properties.
    Right clicking on My Recent Documents does not. :confused: Bazza

    Right click on Start, choose Properties. Next to Start Menu press Customize. Advanced tab, at bottom, check list recent documents. Handy Clear button there as well.

    I looked in my XP Bible book, in the Index under My Recent Documents, but no entry.
    Hence my question. Checking out the Index more thoroughly I came across the solution under My Documents (duh).

    Solution for anyone interested is:

    Start-->Control Panel-->Taskbar and Start menu-->Start menu tab-->Customise
    -->Advanced Tab-->tick on "List my most Recently opened Documents" box.

    Hope this hint may help others, who'd like this feature. Bazza

    Thanks, the Doug. :cool: Your reply was more concise, and quicker typed than mine.
    You beat me to it. :) ;) Bazza
