I just want to ask if this is adequate protection for my windows 7 64 bit machine.

Comodo internet security 10 premium free
    Spywareblaster
    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    CryptoPrevent
    HitmanPro
    Cybereason RansomwareFree

Browsing with Comodo Dragon Version 52.15.25.664 (latest)

Add ons are as follows windscribe VPN, http everywhere, Ghostery, ublock origin, Bitdefender trafficlight, avast, vtchromizer, Dr web link checker.

You certainly have adequate protection for Windows 7.
If there are no problems, leave it as it is.

Most browsers already have the kind of protections in those add ons - CIS and Comodo Dragon have them. So it's a bit like putting a big chain and padlock on your front door in addition to the 3 security locks already there. Having two ransomware applications and HitmanPro seems overkill to me. But if all those apps don't overload system resource use then that's fine.

I have cut down on the programs in the list above and made some changes. I have settled with Avira Pro Security Suite with Malwarebytes anti-malware and anti-exploit and hitman pro

No idea why you need HitmanPro, and without one ransomware application I wouldn't feel safe.

i thought avira pro protects against ransomware

I personally only use Ransomware protection using a dedicated program. My favourite is Crypto Prevent at maximum protection settings. But none of them use system resources - you set them and leave them.
I don't use any 'pro' AV suites, it's money for nothing. I use CIS Premium (free) and it's better than most.

Just a update:- I have reinstalled Crypto Prevent on maximum settings. is there any other program needed

That's all you need for ransomware. On maximum settings some programs (eg Comodo browser, Advanced Codecs and Skype) will only update when you reset Crypto to basic protection, restart, update them, then set back to Max Protection and restart.
