Hi, (sorry if this is too long)

I have a few questions about ads234.com and netspry. First of all, what are they and how much damage do they do?

I have worked all the way through all the steps in the post "read me first".

I disabled the system restore (still disabled after several days, is that bad?)
I did not find any services under RPC
Ran Ad-Aware, keeps coming back clear (keep updating, get nothing)
    Installed CCleaner
Ran Spybot, keep finding and removing DSO Exploit, not much else comes up
    Ran Spyware Blaster
    Ran AVERT Stinger, got nothing
Opened to a folder: CWShredder, Kill2me,about Buster and ran HS Remove.

Tried to boot into safe mode to try the other scans, couldn't get online (booted with network option). I did remove temp files and ran the spyscans, didn't get anything. Had to boot back to normal mode to try the Trend Micro.

Can't get into Symantec Security Check because I keep getting re-routed to ads234.com and then to www.netspry.com which is a blank webpage. I have had that problem here while trying to post also.

I had McAfee virus protection and something got messed up on it and I couldn't fix it. I then bought Norton System Works, but I have to keep Internet Security DISABLED just to surf the web. I have tried finding a setting to allow IE but have not located it.

I also have Ghost Surf that I bought then was later told I wasted my money by my ISP. I have a PopUp Stopper which seems to work. I'm not really getting pop ups. I downloaded something called No-Adware which didn't work, then I removed it but I am questioning if it was a legitemate software or more spyware. I also bought XoftSpy which I later requested a refund because that didn't work either. These software options I had before I tried all this and I'm questioning which are really what they say they are for.

When I run Norton AntiVirus I had the following Deletes Fail and I can't get rid of:

    og.exe
    addit.exe
    backup-2004
    clicks.dll
    oc36.dll
    kzu3.exe
    movieplace.exe
    prelimhanse.exe
    gpt.exe
    sepinst.exe
    vfmjh98.dll
    wildwintracker.exe

I went into my ad/remove programs and saw MidAddle in there, tried to uninstall and it said part where already unintalled and disappeared.

I went into my Program Files just to see what was in there, I saw something titled 6.1.0.153 Back Web

I went into the Common Files and some items are greyed out, but I saw midaddle.dll again in there.

I also saw something called python1.5 win32 extensions.

I have been having trouble with slow internet (on DSL) for about 2 months, just started noticing ads234 about a month ago. I also get re-routed to netspry.com often. Many times I can't even get on the internet and have to reboot my entire pc and shut down my router. Then when everything comes back up it takes about 10 minutes, and I have to immediately turn off Internet Security. I think I spend about 4 hours a day trying to fix this with no luck.

Just recently my credit card (an active one but not used in at least 2 years) was used in NY City and California. I live 6 hours away from NY City but I am very concerned that this is possibly related to my PC trouble. Especially concerning the distance of the 2 locations and that it was used in both locations at the same time. I also got a letter about a credit card that I closed (which I didn't) and a password that I requested changed on an internet account (which I didn't). We also had someone using OUR REAL NAME and selling fake PC's on yahoo auctions. Someone from Guam kept calling me looking for his money and later I had police from 4 other states call me looking for money they thought I picked up at Western Union. They would not disclose which western union but implied it wasn't in the town where I live.

So what started as an annoying very slow start up on PC and very slow and unreliable internet, has now caused me to worry at night about who got into my pc, if I downloaded it accidentally or how to get rid of it. And I love internet banking and ebay and I'm concerned if this is safe given the above problems.

My husband downloaded MAJOR KAZAA earlier this year and even after I uninstalled it, I kept finding little things here and there on the PC and I then found Kazaa Lite which I got rid of (husband or kids deny but I know it wasn't me who put it on!) . Somewhere I saw some program about removing all KAZAA completely, not sure if it was here or some computercops website, but where ever I tried it, that had failed too. My kids had a lot of problems with pop ups on the Disney sites and I had some problems with that but I don't know if that's all useless info.

I went back to college 2 years ago and got a degree in IT with a 4.0 but never found work in my area. Now I lost much of what I learned and I feel like a complete idiot because my PC is such a mess and I don't know how or why. Every time I waste my money on my student loan payment I get more angry.

I have hi-jack this on PC that I downloaded from a computercops website (is that safe?), not here (previously). Never had it analyzed and I can't get on to post a thread on that infected PC. I had to go out and buy a wireless laptop to start rebuilding our business files and for homework for my kids.

    PLEASE HELP :)))))))))))))))))))
