after spyware removal cd and dvd drives not recognized

    After going through a spyware removal, I just noticed that Windows isn't recognizing either my cd or my dvd drive, not is it "seeing" any disks inserted into either drive.

    The computer is working great otherwise.

    Can anyone help?
