AMD 6 Core Build?

    So, for giggles, I looked again on NewEgg for a new computer. I am on an AMD AM2 dual core, it does OK. So, I see a 6 core CPU for a little over $100. Hmm, toss in a $75 mobo, $90 so for 16GB of RAM, and I am thinking an upgrade is in my future.

    Any of you running the AMD 6 core CPU's? Thinking around $400 for a win7 64 bit machine, should be an improvement over the XP box... :confused

    One of my buddies is, and it smokes, super fast. I went I7 with my latest build cause im doing a duel boot hackintosh to move my editing off my laptop to the new pc. It will be Windows 7 as well though.
