I recently purchased a retail AMD 64bit 3500+ Processor with a Venice core from NewEgg.com.

How can I verify that the processor they shipped me is indeed running a Venice core and not one of the other types (like Clawhammer, etc...)? Is there a way to verify this information without removing the fan and heat sink that I have already mounted on the processor?

Yup, I ran the program and I shows my processor having a Venice core.

    Thanks jamcgriff!
