AMD Athlon XP 2200+

    Hey... ummm, i've got an AMD Athlon XP 2200+ and it is only running at 1.1ghz, I was wondering if anyone could tell me why please? (no it's not the mother board.)

    I dont know if its allright.AMDs usually run lower than their ****+ names.
    Maybe yours is a little too slow,check amd website.AMD 2400+ runs at
    2.0ghz

    you may have set a jumper on your mb incorrectly .. check your manuel

    You didnt fiddle with the clock speed(bios settings)?
    Your motherboard is compatible with the specified fsb for the amd?
